At GRB, we believe music can be a powerful tool for self-expression and empowerment. Participants' ages range from 8-14, which are pivotal years for building confidence and community. For many of our participants, this is one of the first times they are able to express themselves in a creative and collaborative environment, let alone have the opportunity to try out a new instrument. Through GRB, we are working to shape a music scene in which collaboration, celebration of our differences and the joy of creativity are uplifted for all. Girls Rock Bloomington is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
